Cercis chinesis Avondale (H422)
Originating from China this shrub produces rich purple-pink flowers on bare stems in late April-May before the leaves emerge. Large heart shaped leaves are an added attraction, leaves are vivid yellow in autumn. Ultimate height 4m, but easy to keep much smaller. Supplied at 30cm.
